Our focus in providing service is to save our clients time and money by providing a comprehensive , turn-key service package. After receiving the case referral, we take care of all the details of preparing for and executing all facets of the examination.
First Medical Advisory Group has reserved time with top physicians which speeds the ability to schedule timely appointments. Our staff is familiar with each of our physicians and can recommend the appropriate physician based on the specific injury. Upon receipt of the referral, we begin the scheduling process with a goal to have each referral scheduled within 24 hours.
Immediately upon scheduling the appointment, we will notify the claimant and adjuster of the details of the appointment. All notifications are provided to the adjuster for documentation purposes as well as maintained within our system.
First Medical Advisory Groups Chart Prep department is second to none. Our experts meticulously “scrub” each file looking for and requesting any missing medical records and diagnostics. We take complete ownership of the process by obtaining all medical records in order to deliver the examining physician the most complete medical history. This complete medical history allows the physician to deliver the most objective opinion possible.
Cover/Purpose letters are typically prepared by the adjuster or nurse case manager. However, the majority of our clients have come to rely on us to draft the purpose letter for them. We employ claims adjusters who thoroughly understand the case, discuss the issues with the adjusters and are skilled at creating appropriate questions. We deliver the cover letter at least five days prior to the exam to the adjuster for review and approval.
Within 24 hours of the examination, First Medical Advisory Group contacts the physician to confirm the patient attended the appointment. We also request a preliminary report immediately following the examination.
No shows and late cancellations cost our clients time and money. Through our communication with the claimant, including mailed notices and reminder phone calls, First Medical Advisory Group has effectively reduced “NO SHOWS”.
Our QA experts review each report to ensure that the physician has addressed each question concisely and completely.
